Q2: My organisation would like to apply for a Workplace Giving Award. Where can I find information about the available categories?

Awards information can be found here: https://www.1mdonors.org.au/apply-for-an-award/. Prior to applying, we encourage all applicants to download and read the information sheets for the relevant categories – including the terms and conditions. 

Q3: Which award should I apply for? Can I apply for more than one category?

Based on your profile, i.e. employee numbers and organisation type, the relevant award categories will appear in the applications tab of your 1MDonors account. You can definitely apply for more than one category!

Q4: I’ve tried to create an account on the 1Mdonors.org website and I get an error saying my organisation already exists. Can you help?

Q5: I’m not quite ready to start writing my application, I am interested in viewing the application questions. Is there a way I could do this?

Q6: Is there a way I can save my application and come back at another time to complete?

Yes, once you commence your application there is an option at the bottom of the page to ‘Save draft. You can return and a later time resume your application by finding it under the applications tab once you are logged in.

Q7: I accidently submitted my application and now would like to make changes. Is this possible?

Yes this is possible as long as the applications are open. Please email info@1mdonors.org.au and we will be able to assist you.

Q8: Can I download a copy of my application once I have submitted?

Yes, you will see your completed application in the application tab with an option to ‘Download application (PDF)’.

Q9: I have additional evidence to support my application, can I send this to back up my entry?

You can submit your supporting evidence online during the application process. They can either be uploaded directly (5MB or less) or links (such as Dropbox or wetransfer) can be included for larger files.  Please be aware there are maximum limits: 4 x A4 pages or equivalent and one video of 3-minutes maximum duration.

Examples of supporting evidence include marketing materials; flyers, emails, newsletters, videos, event photos or screen shots of online assets.

Q10: How are the Awards judged?

All award applications are reviewed by an independent judging panel. The judging panel is made up of industry thought leaders and champions of workplace giving. The chair of the judging panel assists with the formation of the award categories and judging criteria. Learn more about our judges here.

Q11: When are the finalists announced?

The 2022 Australian Workplace Giving Award finalists will be announced mid October 2022. They will be published on the www.1mdonors.org.au website as well as social media channels.

Q12: When will the Awards event take place? 

The 2022 Australian Workplace Giving Awards ceremony is on Thursday 24 November 2022. Registrations for the event will open closer to the date.

All updates in relation to the event will be communicated via 1MDonors website and all social media channels.
