B4SI APAC Director, Corporate Citizenship

Simon is a specialist in measurement and benchmarking of corporate community investments and impact assessment using Business for Societal Impact (B4SI). Simon has been a sustainability professional, connecting business and communities, since the early 1990’s. He has held a range of senior positions including Deputy Regional Director for Business in the Community (UK) moving to Australia in 2004 he has held positions as GM for Corporate Responsibility at Sensis and inaugural CEO of Melbourne / Australia Cares. Simon has been working with B4SI (formerly LBG) now for over 13 years.

In that time Simon has notably led the introduction of an online data collection and reporting platform, supported and advised companies on impact assessment and social impact strategy development and overseen the reporting and verification of social investments of over 50 companies each year since 2009.

Simon now heads up B4SI in the APAC region for Corporate Citizenship, a global management consultancy specialising in strategic sustainability advice, with offices in London, New York, San Francisco, Santiago, Singapore and Melbourne. Corporate Citizenship is now part of SLR Consulting. Simon was voted into the top 25 of the most influential people in the Australian social sector in Pro Bono’s inaugural Impact 25.

Simon has a Bachelor of Science degree from Liverpool University and postgraduate certificate in management from Leeds Metropolitan University.
